Mmmmmm Coffee...

Thursday, July 7, 2016

Welcome back to the blog!  Again, if you continually read each week, thank you so much for loving us.  Hope everyone had a happy 4th of July!  We sure did- stayed around the house and went to our first family BBQ at a friends house on the 4th.  We were home by 7:30 though so no fireworks for the babes this year.
How most of our pictures looked.... Before we turned Winnie the Pooh on.

These last two pics we had Pooh turned on and they were LOST in it.

As some of you saw, we went the the Roasterie Factory for a tour!  It was awesome- and totally free which is such a plus.  Annnnnd Mom and Dad have grown quite fond of the drink since they babies have been born.  The babies were amazing.  Not one tear was shed!  Bennett even seemed to be listening to what the guy was saying!  Emmy fell asleep half way through and slept all the way home.  We started the day out visiting Aunt Anna down at her new work and getting Mom and Dad some new jeans!  Overall another, and probably our favorite, family Friday.

Auntie!!! These two love their Aunt Anna...
For some reason, I think it is so damn attractive when Alex wears the baby carrier.  Ahhh my heart!
Some of my favorite coffee!  Yay for KC and yummy drinks.
It kind of looks like B has a mustache in this pic.  Lolz...
Little Em, right before she fell asleep.
Intro movie before the tour.  Notice the hats.  I felt right at home (being an OR nurse)
This space is also rented out for weddings and receptions!  So cute.

About to go in!

I'm getting thirsty typing this....

Such a good pupil.  He seemed so enthralled with the whole process.  We might have another coffee lover here.

Love my fam.

Great day and ended with a Vanilla Cappuccino!

Happy at home with B.

T w i n s   U p d a t e...
So today was their 6 month appointment and they are checked out completely healthy!  Bennett weighs 19 lbs 2 oz and is 26 inches long!  Em is 16 lbs 2 oz and right behind her brother at 25.5 inches!  The doc said everything looked on track, from eating to sleeping.  B is in the 75th percentile and E is in the 50th.  They also got their 6 month shots and were CHAMPS.  I couldn't be more proud of them.

Summer is moving so fast, and I try to get it to slow down somehow.  Doesn't seem to work.  Now that it's pretty hot, we don't do much outside, unless we get a walk in in the morning.  They have been loving their pool still!  I can't wait to take them to a big pool, which we hope to do this month.

Ready for a walk!
B slept in this position one night... Cracked me up!
SUPER AWESOME and EASY jalapeno recipe I made for the 4th...

1 block cream cheese (softened)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 clove garlic
12 jalapenos
Bacon

Combine the first 4 ingredients with a mixer.  Spoon into the cut jalapenos.  Wrap in half (or whole piece of bacon) and bake for about 25-30 minutes depending on your oven.  Enjoy!
Until next week,
Lauren, E & B
